Display and Build:

The Galaxy Core Prime is a lower mid range quad core phone from Samsung. The phone is very compact and looks and feels solidly built. The phone up front has a TFT capacitive panel that measures 4.5” diagonally and has a 480p (800*480p) display with a ppi of 200+. It is the successor to the popular Galaxy Core.

Internal Specifications and Operating System

The phone has a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 Cortex-A7 processor which is quad core coupled with 1GB ram. The phone has a 2000mah battery which should make it last the day and has 8GB storage expandable via a microSD slot upto 64GB. The sensors included are an accelerometer, proximity sensor and compass.

The phone runs Google’s v4.4.4 Kitkat skinned with Samsung’s Touchwiz UI.

Camera

The Core Prime camera is a 5MP unit for your photography needs that can record 720p videos @ 30fps and has a LED flash. The front snapper is a 2MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Connectivity

The Core Prime has Quad band GSM, GPRS, EDGE, Dual band 3G with HSPA, GPS, FM, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB for charging and USB connections.

You can enjoy your content in a pretty large screen and the phone looks great in white and is fashionable. One of the odd mobile phones from the Samsung group. I do not encourage to get this one.The low bar of having no selfie camera at all or a 1MP one. It definitely lacks the ambition of the Galaxy Grand Prime's selfie camera but it's also not very ambition when it comes to pricing so it all sounds fair. Screen ppi is entry-level. No screen protection glass. No automatic brightness sensor. Optional Dual SIM version available. Large screens with low resolution. While in terms of pixel density the Galaxy Core Prime is in the same range, its entry-level position makes us more willing to forgive the sub-HD resolution and the lack of an IPS screen matrix.
