The Micromax Canvas A1 is a budget offering from Micromax in the Android One series of phones and has decent specs and build quality to enhance the user experience. The phone up front has a TFT capacitive panel that measures 4.5” diagonally and has a 480p (854*480p) display.

Internal Specifications and Operating System

The phone has a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex A5 processor coupled with 1GB RAM. The phone has a 1700mah battery and 4GB storage expandable via a microSD slot upto 32GB. The sensors included are an accelerometer and a proximity sensor.

The phone runs Android OS, v4.4.4 (KitKat), upgradable to v5.1 (Lollipop)

Camera

Can be bought for some certain features. Micromax Canvas A1 Android mobile phone comes along with the latest Android OS.It offers a 5MP primary camera and a 2MP front Camera and it also supports various connectivity like 3G, GPS, Wifi and USB. It has a capacitive touch screen display and it also has Multiple touch features. Display is not that great and looks mediocre. Poor Pixel density . No display protection features. There are too many add-on facility and features that comes to you absolutely for free. Although one can argue that the specifications are not unique, but for the add-on feature it possesses, it’s certainly one of the handset to grab your hands on.
