HTC Desire 516C

The Desire 516C phone is a large display dual sim phone at a not so large price tag. It has a decent 5” qHD (960*540) Super LCD2 Display with good contrast and the build quality feels classic HTC with decent build quality and touch response.

The phone runs a Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 1GB RAM . The sensors included are an accelerometer, proximity sensor and compass. The storage capacity of the phone is available in a 4GB flavour which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. The phone is powered by a 1950mah battery for your needs.

The phone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jellybean with no upgrades announced yet.

The Desire 516C has a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash capable of 720p video recording and a front facing 2MP camera for video calling and self shots. The camera has nothing worth mentioning and is standard fare with decent quality

The Desire 516C has support for quad-band GSM and dual band 3G. It supports CDMA, HSDPA. It has Wifi, Bluetooth v4.0. which are the standard connectivity modules found in most phones. It is a dual sim phone with dual standby and is a good addition to its other attractive features.

The Desire 516C is a low priced large screen phone but the availability of a new Android version is absent and you are well advised to look at the newer Desire 526 for a better experience, nonetheless it is a good device and holds its ground well with decent performance thanks to a Qualcomm processor and great build.
