Gionee Marathon M3

A smart competitor to the smart phones. The new Gionee Marathon M3 has arrived in India.The device offers a decent set of specs at a very competitive price. It appears like the M3 isn’t bothered to impress anyone with its looks,its unlike the slim smart phones that we own these days and feels relatively chubby. The phone feels quite light. The front houses the selfie cam, sensors and earpiece. The back panel made out of a nice matte finish plastic which houses the primary camera and LED flash. It features the OS, the Marathon M3 runs on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS with Gionee’s Amigo UI on top. It will certainly appeal users who like fiddling around with their smart phones a lot. Multimedia performance is at par with what you can expect at this price. Video playback is pretty good and the audio too has a solid output. It offers decent picture quality in well-lit conditions. Images rendered are pretty decent without any oversaturation of colors. One could easily see details missing in the low light conditions. The phone also houses a 2MP selfie cam that suffices your selfie needs. Performance is by far not top notch, although it would get most of the activities done. Call quality both indoors or outdoors is fantastic. As far as network connectivity is concerned, it latches easily onto available Wi-Fi networks without any problem. The battery performance is quite phenomenal. It offers a good all round performance, and at the same time tackles the most perpetual issue with smartphones these days, the battery life.
